This TV has a stunning picture if you are watching HD content. OH, and all important info missing on Samsung is that it does HAVE PIP. However it has a lot of issues that make Samsung or Plasma/LCD TV’s a pain.
1) The sound from the T speakers is useless,yes some of us do like to use the TV speakers for regular TV watching to preserve our hearing.
2) If you hook it up to a BD DVD Player like Sony PS3 or an HD DVD Player and try to play non Blu-Ray/HD DVD movies it is well documented that it will not play them and show a message “Mode not Compatible” especially when you are using HDMI (DUH!). I have not tried to use a component cable to see if it will work or a regular DVD player. IF I had found this out I would never have bought this TV. SO INDIANS BE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE that you may have to use a regular DVD player to watch 480i content.
I think this is why it deserves a 3 star. Otherwise 5 star for HD watching the picture is beyond compare even in standard mode.

Very happy with this HD Plasma TV. The picture quality and overall performance of this TV is excellent.
Initially had a problem applying an Amazon.com promotional discount of $325 on this item. After exchanging numerous emails with Amazon.com over several weeks, Amazon.com resolved my problem to my satisfation.

I bought the TV and was promised a date for Delivery. Unfortunately the TV was sent thru Pilot. Nobody from Pilot called me to schedule a delivery. After couple of calls and I was transferred to the local Pilot office and they told me that they are overwhelmed and don;t have time to call everyone and schedule the delivery. Of course they can’t deliver it by the promised date and will schedule it for coming Monday and try to deliver it (most probably will deliver but no guarantees. I was already pissed off with the delivery and then a non committal response forced me to cancel the order. Pilot will redirect it back to Amazon.

Buy somthing else. If it breaks, you are screwed for a month. Two weeks to get parts only to realize that its another problem. Now being told that they have to order a new display…. Another two weeks!

We ordered this TV and within a week had it in our basement. We haven’t set it up yet since we are waiting on carpet to be installed but my compliment here is for the shipper. The best, most professional people I’ve dealt with. They called and let me know what was going on the whole time. This is one reason I do business with Amazon! I’ll be back to review the TV at a later time.
